At the helm of the company is Mr. Washburn, whose extensive background in the field has led him to become a recognized leader among industry professionals and his peers. Over the course of his career, he has worked in dynamic roles with Liberty Loan Corporation, Central Fidelity Bank, Moore’s Building Supplies and Owens & Minor. His experiences have led him to develop expertise in corporate credit management, the legal and corporate aspects of the medical and pharmaceutical industry, and the valuation of medical and pharmacy patient records and prescription files. He established Washburn & Associates in 1996 and has since gained worldwide recognition for his professional achievements. Mr. Washburn was honorably selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in American, Who’s Who in Finance and Business, and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
Mr. Washburn prepared for his career by attending the University of Richmond Extension, Williams College, Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Louisville Junior College. He remains at the top of his field through his professional affiliations with the International Platform Association and the National Association of Credit Management, for which he served as president of the central Virginia section. Mr. Washburn is also a member of the American Management Association, the National Association of Life Underwriters and the American Pharmacists Association. As he looks to the future, he intends to continue offering premier services in the areas of pharmaceutical purchases, sales, valuation and consulting.
