Mary Wynne Heiss Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who’s Who

With many years of artistic experience and excellence under her belt, Mary Heiss has held a number of different positions in the field of the arts, including production assistant for Pyramid Atlantic. Earlier in her career, she joined the National Museum of Art and the Smithsonian as a demonstration artist. Over the course of her many years in her industry, she has had her work exhibited in a plethora of one and two woman shows at Alden Phelps Gallery, Clinical Center Galleries, and Arnold and Porter Law Firm. Additionally, she has had the honor of taking part in group exhibitions at Rose Art Museum, Minot State University, Rockland Art Center, Somerstown Gallery, Corcoran Gallery of Art and Museum de Gravura Citade de Curitiba in Rio de Janeiro.
A graduate of Montgomery College, the University of Maryland, and George Washington University, Mary Heiss holds an Associate of Arts, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Master of Fine Arts. In order to remain active among her professional circles, she affiliates herself with the L.A. Printmaking Society, through which she won the Purchase Award in 1990. In addition to this honor, she has been awarded for her professional accomplishments on numerous occasions, including winning the First Place Award at the Riverwalk Art Festival. Furthermore, Mary Heiss has been featured in many volumes of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of American Women.
