Roslyn Rose Honored by Marquis Who’s Who for Achievements in Art
Ms. Rose was named to numerous honors publications, including Who’s Who of American Women,
Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World
ROCHESTER, NY, December 20, 2016, Roslyn Rose has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With an amazing four decades of professional experience, Ms. Rose parlays her knowledge into being an active member of the National Association of Women Artists, the International Society of Experimental Art, the Rochester Contemporary Art Center, and the Anderson Alley Artists Association of Rochester, NY.
Throughout her impressive and long-standing career, Ms. Rose has created and exhibited more of her artwork than she can possibly recount. She has had the opportunity to participate in group exhibits including NAWA “Alternate Vision,” Morris Museum, NJ; NJ State Museum Annual, Trenton, NJ; “Jersey Woman Artists Now,” George Segal Gallery, Montclair University, NJ; Washington Gallery of Photography, Bethesda, MD; Ceres Gallery National Juried Shows, NYC; Longview Museum of Fine Arts, Texas; and “ISEA International Art Exhibition,” NWS Gallery, San Pedro, CA. Recently Ms. Rose moved to Rochester, NY and her artwork was part of an exhibit at the Image City Photography Gallery in October 2016.
In recognition of her achievements, Ms. Rose has won a plethora of awards throughout her career. Awards include Best-in-Show at the Mountain Arts Show, Bernardsville, NJ; Computer Art and Photography Awards at National Association of Women Artists Annual exhibitions; and The Directors’ Award at the Period Gallery, Omaha, NE. She received a Best-in-Show award at a recent International Society of Experimental Artists exhibition. Ms. Rose was named to numerous honors publications, including Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World. In 2015, she won a top award for photography through the National Association of Women Artists at the Wald and Kim Gallery in New York.
